The zodiac  plants attract  pushmi-pullu, and have  veg plates.
My garden certainly looks better for some rain. I have been filling the water cans from the canal, just  for the   beans and peas. Apart from  a few flowers there isn't a lot in my garden this  year. That must be  the dry weather. 
I have the dog here for the weekend. Sarah took the girls to Manchester last  night  to a concert. Sarah  wandered round the  shops till it was time to  pick them up again, and they got home at 1 this  morning.
My next project is I am going to paint my bedroom. I have the paint, masking tape  etc, and made new curtains . I will make a start after  the dog is back home.

good morning Mike. I am not a fan of Susan  Boyle, but think she is a   good singer. I think  I think it would be   nice for her  to  get married.. I think I only   ticked "like" on the item. It has turned a lot  colder here over the last few days. I did some  weeding yesterday. Funny how they  grow  but the vegetables  don't haha.. I will be having The dog here  later. Sarah and the girls are going on a long walk, I dont know where to.  the dog has been at Damian's for the weekend, so if he drops the dog off here , I have a little job   he  could do.  My son  and  Daughter in law  go to Portugal on Wednesday for a week. Her brother lives there, and he has a  lot of olive  trees. Dillon enjoys  helping him pruning them,. Have a   good week   xx

good night Mike. I had a quiet  Easter. The dog was here friday -monday. I weeded  part of the  back  garden, I put the dog's bed on the  lawn and he slept in the sun while I was pottering. I called to see my brother this morning as he is 84  today, and his wife will be  83 at the weekend. I only stayed a afew minutes as my tummy was playing up. It is ok now thank goodness, but I wasn't sure if it was a bug  or .something I had eaten yesterday.  That is good  your team are doing well. I dont follow  football.    xx

FREE SF WEEKEND

hello Mike, well done to your  grandson on the kick boxing.  I had a lovely few days,  great to get them all together again. I couldn't find my camera so no photos. The train going was cancelled at Derby  as another had  broken and blocked the  south line. We had an hour standing on Derby station, then caught the  Plymouth train to Birmingham. It had to take a detour, so was standing an hour on that journey as it was crowded. Luckily I caught another  train ok from Birmingham and Charlotte  met me at Bournemouth  at 1-30. A tiring day !  The trip back went  perfect thank goodness.   Nothing planned over this weekend. I will potter in the garden weather permitting. I did mow the lawns  today.  xx

Waddington used to do big  air displays  at one time, and  we sat in Liz's garden and watched for  nothing !
Dillon  works at the Mid Hants railway most Saturdays. He is in charge  of restoring  wagons. He used to go to Yeovil   some weekends, to help with the  steamers, but my daughter in law said  no, as she  barely saw him.  xx
