Hey! Oh, yes, I have been snowed in since going to the doctor's on the 7th. Our street is a slippery mess. Trees, limbs, branches, ice and snow have all impacted the neighborhood this past week. Today, when I was measuring the snow (3 inches deep on average, up to 4.5 inches in the spaces between my tomato pots), I heard my neighbor chainsawing. His trees took a beating in this weather. His was the first of two trees I saw come crashing down under the weight of the snow and ice. The speed at which they fell was unbelievable. They were sick trees so Mother Nature gave him a helping hand. I lost two large limbs and several branches off a pine tree. This tree was a shocker. It was seemingly healthy. I have to do some cleanup but am giving my hand additional healing time. It has mainly scabbed over, but I do not want to take any chances with infection. It still hurts to the touch. It has made progress around one of the suture holes: it is no longer pus colored. The hole where the knot was tied has a lingering green tinge but not nearly as bad as before. From the (hopeful) looks of it, my body is slowly beating the infection without the need of antibiotics. Yay!
Have you noticed that the days are getting longer? It was still light outside after 5:45 pm. I see snow but sense spring. :)

Hello Esmeralda, you can rant and rave as much as you want about the political situation around the world it all the same and then you have the Chinese wanting to take over the world. This lot here are the pits. It phase two load shedding today. You have to check it very day. They now saying two of the power stations were badly built. Whose fault is that when most of it was used to line the back pockets of sub-contractors who don't have an honest bone in their body? Uk they let in all the foreigners and employ them because they are happy with a menial wage. Only place I saw locals employed was Scotland and it was brilliant to here the locals chat to you in their Scottish brogue. I take the hours of load shedding and do some clearing. Only thing is sometimes I find myself moving stuff from one location to another. I do need to get rid of this crap that is here. I feel I don't have control. It takes time and can be a tedious journey but I am going to see if I can do it. Tried once before and gave up before I finished. Have a good afternoon and smile all the while.
