Yes, me too! Too early for that kind of heat

That is good to hear. Whenever it get hot out, my brain goes into panic mode. My paternal grandfather had heat stroke - he was the head horticulturalist for East York, Toronto. My oldest son's grandfather also died of heat stroke and my son was forever getting himself too heated up whenever he went out in the sun for too long. Sadly, people don't think about how dangerous the sun can be.
Whenever Michael goes out, he makes sure that he takes a bottle of water and stops during his walk to sip on the water.
It breaks my heart fur babies are so terrified of thunder and fireworks. I use to say that once our fur babies were gone, we could go out and enjoy the storms and fire works again; but, you know what, Nicole, they are now gone and I can't do it without thinking about them. Once a fur baby touches your heart, it remains touched for the remainder of your life.
Stay cool today.

Hello Nicole! I have thawed my garden now that I have a little more free time on my hands. I was buried in course work and remote work. Things are slowly reopening here....next week our public schools are reopening so that mean far less computer work from home for me. Hope all has been well in your area! Has your family been healthy?

I get it, Nicole. Sadly, I fear that some companies and organizations are taking advantage of the government payouts. At least a few members of the federal P.C.s said that it was wrong for political parties to take the handouts.
I am just so disgusted though with the lackadaisical attitude that so many have. Sadly, I think that the people who are distancing or wearing face coverings, will not stop until it hits home to them. By then, it will be too late.
Stay safe. Feel free to send me a friend request, if you choose.

Hello Nicole, Still no better here. It is May Bank holiday here tomorrow. Some people are breaking the lockdown and are going to beaches, parks, woods etc. IDIOTS! It is being warned they could cause a Second Spike to the Corona Virus. We are going no where. I was upset yesterday as I miss seeing our daughters and Grandchildren but safety is serious! We talk everyday on the phone and have a link 2 times a week where we can see them live on the phone. Are you able to do this? Stay Safe xxx

Hello Nicole, How awful for your daughter. I am sorry. I can see it happen here!! Every where has been shut down. Now they are gradually opening but there is little confidence. We are still under lock down except for supermarkets and you have to return observing distance and not hang around. xxx
