It depends on the pot needed... unfortunately many of the pots used for this purpose are limited edition ones that only existed as part of a challenge in the game and they can only be obtained by buying. Some of them are actually very cheap, 1 or 2 gold dust. I've been missing many years from the game so I had to buy them. But if for example some of the gnome pots now available to win at the sunflower challenge are later assigned as alchemy pots for some gold animal, you could already have them. Hope I helped!

Hello, go to misc in the pot section for the bamboo pot, place in your garden, hover over pot and follow instructions.  Once you have planted the bamboo, to get the bamboo food, leave an empty plate out and visit gardens with bamboo food, when you spot the right wildlife (I know giant panda is one), then bamboo food will be placed on your empty plate.  Good Luck.  xx

go into buy a new flowerpot and buy a bamboo pot under misc. xx
