If it's a Round, Square, Crescent:Ā  Ā 
small left leaning bud ----- red, green or violet
small right leaning bud ----orange or blue
fat budĀ  --------------------- yellow or indigo

If it's a Loop, Pentagon:
small left leaning bud----- yellow or indigo
small right leaning bud ---red, green or violet

If it's a Triangle, Heart:

This is the two buttercup method
Ā  Step One: Plant all 5 FT seeds inĀ  2 Gold Pots, 2 Rainbow pots, One light purple pot DD and FD.
Step Two: When they are ready for harvest. Plant your supershroom and DD.Ā 
Step Three: Move your gold pot to the farest left of your garden, thenĀ  2nd Gold pot, then rainbow pot, light purple(knapweed), last rainbow pot
Step Four: Place out a Tea cup from the regular pots.Ā 
Step Five: Now your garden is ready. Place out berries on low plate andĀ  leave your 2nd high plate empty. make sure it is the gold pot farestĀ  left in your garden. Superfood is the best food to use.
Step Six:Ā  First Fairy for the gold pot will plant a buttercup in the tea cup.Ā  This plant when DD will last 1 day and 23 hours. Do Not DD until yourĀ  grass is on the high table.
Step Seven: Harvest your gold pot and place out your 2nd tea cupĀ 
Step Eight: Attract 2nd Fairy from the next gold pot to plant your 2ndĀ  buttercup. Harvest that gold pot and Plant a toadstool in the DarkĀ  purple pot DD and FD.
