Good afternoon splash!
It was nice yesterday, I got outside and cut down some smaller poplar trees because we let them grow up in spots we don’t eat them. They’re off in a section of yard we don’t use much so it’s been a bit neglected over the past several years and as the trees got bigger we just quickly mowed around them instead of getting rid of them so yesterday was the day. I cleared out a little patch that we’d planted blueberries and a sugar maple, they all grow but nothing produces, probably because I neglect them. They’re off sugar maple is doing really well but I planted it as a tiny sapling about 6 years ago so it’s really only about 1/2 metre tall and it’s looking very lovely with its bright yellow and orange tipped leaves. My garden is still a swamp after all the rain but I see there’s a few peas and beans growing. I’m actually surprised because the whole garden has been under water for a couple of weeks. John got the lawn mower out yesterday and splashed his way around but it cut the grass, a bit choppy but it’ll help it dry out now. The mosquitoes are relentless so cutting the grass should help get rid of those.
I’m glad to see you on fairyland more these days! It must mean you’re feeling a little bit better! Have the dr’s sorted out your medication? Are you getting back to your regular self now? What a terrible ordeal you’ve had to go through.
