Good night splash!
You’ll have to tell me how the felt needling class goes, it sounds interesting! I’m glad you had a nice day, seems like you got some organizing accomplished. John and I were outside most of the day working on that isolation coop. The weather was great, we even took our coats off and worked in our t-shirts. We got the underside of both the front and back of the roof sealed in and started on the trim. We also moved one of the old pen that’s empty out in the field over closer to the new coop. I made pork chops and French fries for supper, I got side tracked and forgot to get a veggie started so we didn’t have one with supper, oh well. Tomorrow we want to get the trim finished and then we will get the inside insulated and finished so we can put in the nesting boxes and roost. It’s just an 4x8 shed, I’ll only use it if someone gets hurt or is ill but it’s worth having if I need it. This summer I had a hen that got picked on and was bleeding from a few missing feathers. It’s so hard to keep them safe without an isolation coop and now I’ll be able to monitor things so much better.
