splashed--I don't think we will ever get spring-- All the ground that was bare is now recoated with snow this morning and a snow advisory is is out and we are -12. I think mother nature must be hiding under the covers and left us stuck with this mess. We now have a government dental plan which covers only up to a certain amount but I guess it is something at least, I have a long list of chores to do today so by the time I get that done I will be too tired to care about the weather outside.Yes I think we got everything straightened out for Kevin--its hard to organize your thoughts when your mind is taken a rest and doesn't work--but I think we have it are straight now and he is organized.. Hello Ed, the ancestry site that my cousin did the research on seems to be valid. We are not related to famous people or royalty. It may be the same site that my newly discovered second cousin is using to track my father's family. Certainly validated by the photos that she sent to me. There was my paternal Grandmother and her siblings. I think that is Ancestry.com but not sure. Yes Paull is an unusual surname. I will have to do more reserch on that name that I am proud to have. Meanwhile I am off to bed to finish reading a book. I hope to go to my art group tomorrow and then visit Mum on Thursday. Good night my friend.

Hello Ed, home again after visiting Mum. She seems to be a lot brighter. I passed on your message to her and she said, "Thank you." My ancestor who arrived in Freemantle one one of the last convict ships was William Snowling Stearn. Mum's side of the family. The second cousin whom I have been speaking about is on my father's side of the family. Enjoy your day.

Morning splash--It is dull and we could be in for rain/snow again,that seems to be all we get.The forecast did say warming by the end of the week so I guess there is stillhope. But in the meantime cloudy and -10.. Nope--Mothers day here is in May. Yesterday I spent going back and forth with Kevin--he wasn't going to go to the funeral of his friend who passed away early last week,but on think about it-- weather permitting as it is a 3hr. drive away. He was asked if he would say something-- another problem -so told him just to write about how when they met and a few things they did, then we have the problem of clothes to wear as his suit is 10 yrs old and doesn't fit. Got all the problems sorted--he has written down what he wants to say and its fine, and as I said dress pants and  dress shirt will be more than adaquate,considering how some people will show up. so now we are just down to the weather and we can't do anything about that. Poor John when he was about 3-4 and was in Kristines wedding,Grandpa got the job of entertaining and looking after Joh--we figured after that day  grandpa would be Grandpa No--that was mostly just a little boy being confined so he stayed clean for a few hours. Hello Ed, the first thing I have to say is that Mum is doing extremely well and the doctors nurses etc are pleased with her progress but in no hurry to send her home. I didn't go there today as both my brothers were visiting her as did Allen her nephew. I will go tomorrow so she has someone there. I have spoken to her on the phone and I am happy about how she sounds as my brothers are about how she looks and moves. Now for something weird. My youngest brother is interested in searching in searching the Paull family tree. He has been in contact with a women who is also doing the same. When Michael looked her up in Facebook she has a friend named Greg Dagg. Greg is one of the 4 siblings to inherit the boatshed and holiday house. I rang Terase, Greg's older sister today and asked if she knew Tracy Coulsen a distant relative of mine and Terase immediately told me YES. The links were incredible and strong. Terase and I started to think that I may have met Tracy at the boatshed over the years. I facebooked Tracy and she confirmed the connection to Terase's family. Not 6 degrees of connection. One degree. Terase's daughter even lived with Tracy for 6 months. Tracy has since sent me photos of older people in her family and there is my Grandmother on the Paull side. Also a great Aunty Peg. I knew their faces. Dad wasn't good at keeping in contact with his family apart from visiting his parents and visiting Aunty Peg in Sydney once a year when I was a child. Never saw many photos of his family. How weird is that my long term Rye friends are so connected with a family member of mine?
