Hello ED, your trousers are taking a long time to arrive. It is night here now. Raining ad windy. I made a mini roast for dinner. Enjoyed it. Now I am thinking bed and a book. I will most likely finish Spare tonight. Have a great day.

Good morning Ed
Yes, Shanta lives about 10 minutes drive away. She and her daughter on her own. Her dad died couple if years ago, so she doesn't really have anyone to help her. I love Aldi. The cats eat the cat food, a lot of the food is very nice. I love the branding. Lurpak is Norpak! 😆  we are always rummaging in the middle aisles. Laundry liquid is good too.
Looks a nice day. Hope that cold wind has dropped.
Have a good day

Hello Ed, the VE celebrations sound terrific. Sometimes reading another book by an author that you have enjoyed can disappoint you. One author who never lets me dow is Alexander McCall Smith. He is a Scot. I love his books about 'The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency.' Set in Botswana. Full of humour. He is quite prolific as a writer and I keep every book that he writes. The detective agency books were made into a TV series. Possibly BBC? A great adaption of the books. I have been doing a bit of gardening today. Also some more clearing of the workshop. The owner of the diving gear remains a mystery so I will give it to the Charity shop on Friday. Enjoy your day.

Hi Ed
Ooh sorry about wind damage. Did you go to sainsburys? I keep thinking it's Monday.
Was supposed to take Tasha to hospital appointment but they cancelled.  Ended up going to Jim's niece to help her. She has just moved and we built her bed and table. We also put her tv on the wall and installed her washing machine. She was very happy.
Home now and getting on with my jobs.
Have a nice afternoon

Good morning splash--We had a good rain overnight and now it is bright with what looks like low clouds. The sun is trying very hard to break through so maybe another nice sunny day. The nurse will be here shortly after lunch but that is the only thing on for today I think. I love good old military/Service parades but then seeing so many of the over the years and marching in them it sort of gets in your blood.I expect maybe Rememberence day will be a big thing this year. We did have a little bit of it last weekend  with Battle of Atlantic Sunday. Have a good day

Hello Ed, when we went decimal back in 1963 I was 10 yo. I figured out that if I swapped a penny for a cent I would be in front. It didn't work out that way. It wasn't about swapping. HaHa. Checked with all of the family and no one claims the diving set. So it goes to the Op shop on Friday. Night has fallen, dinner done and after a bit of F/L I will go to bed to continue reading the book. Good night.

Hello Ed, TY for the wee mouse and Sunlight seed. Ha ha, the things I find whilst doing my clean up i the workshop. Today I came across an unopened package of large size flippers, snorkel and mask covered in dust. Certainly not mine. I have message my children asking who owns it. If no response by Friday it goes to the Charity Shop. Enjoy your day.

Hello Ed, I am still plugging away with Harry's book. I heard on the news that he was denied security by the UK when visiting family. He has made some poor decisions in life. Oh. and that Mushroom murder trial is interesting. The accused is telling the court that she has a great interest in Mushrooms. If so she should have known what the deadly nightcap looks like. I love eating mushrooms. Usually eat them daily. However, even though they grew wild at Jamieson I didn't pick them. Better to be safe than sorry. Enjoy your day.
