Hello Ed, I was in Diane's garden just before you. Re. my friends in F/L.... well there is you, perhaps my longest friend. Pat and Her Fur Babies (Herts. Eng), There was another Pat in Wales but she sadly is now late. Both Pat's were friends. Evelyn and Evie UK. Jennifer and Honey Buffulo. I think that you live near each other? And are friends. And of course Diane and her son Kevin. They are the only people that I really write to sharing our lives. I have many more that always water and post.  Home again after spending the afternoon with Mum. Once again came home with 2 bags of things for the Charity store. A lot of expensive books mainly about the Navy and WW2 that Dad would have purchased and most likely not read. At the end of my drive home I was driving into the setting sun. It was blinding and only just after 4 p.m. Happily the days will soon get longer as it is Mid Winter on Saturday. Enjoy your day.

What a whirlwind 3 days! Took a long time to get home, several accidents on the motorways.
Had a good time though
Oh dear, sainsburys will be losing customers.  I go there if I am in a hurry ( it's the closest one and fairly quiet) my favourite is Tesco, much farther away but bigger and better

Splashed--Like you said,this cold is an on again off again thing but do think I am getting the best of it finally. Last thing I want is to contend with a cold in this heat--mad it to almost 30 yesterday and well over when they figure in the humidity. Today there is some rain and storms forecast but wether we get them or not is another thing.It looks like a nasty mess but a lot of time they just rumble past and we don't get much. Sagwa is back to his usual self,I have an obstacle course in the morning of all the toys he has taken out of the toy box and scattered all over the living room.Going to get up around the 30 mark again and maybe a storm come through but the good thing is I do not have to go out of the building.Its funny how we have a favorite store for groceries and no matter what we keep going back there--I do the same but it is much easier to shop and not miss things when you know the store and where everything is. Off to get a a few things  I need done before I go for tea--Have a good day.

Hello Ed, TY for the mouse. Yes it is his first book. I read the second one earlier this year. No news re. Bonnie. Sadly I think that she is late as Mma Ramotswe would say. Not making light of it. I did enjoy our conversations and I well remember how we beacame friends in F/L. It was quite late one night many years ago and she posted about being fearful of a storm. I posted back and stayed in touch with her throughout the storm. We remained friends ever after. Sad that I do not know. On a lighter note, I have made and eaten my dinner. Garlic Prawns with a salad. I watched Hard Quiz and then QI as I snuggled on the couch. Mindy was snuggled on a throw that I wrestled from under her and covered myself. Now I am almost ready for bed and to continue with the book. Mungo is already there and as the night goes on Mindy will join us. Enjoy your day.

Hello Ed, I will confess that I have an old pair of slippers that I only wear when no visitors. Breaking in the new slippers. Likewise and old dressing gown that is warmer than my gown that I wear when I have guests. As I was writing to you Shannon video called me with little Jesse. Shannon, Amira and Jesse as well as Amira's mother, brother and his family are planning to go to China next month. Amira's mother is Chinese. Amira and her brother have a business idea that they hope to get off the ground in China. It is all about a shoe design of Amira's. Now I must prepare dinner. Have a great day.

Hello Ed, TY for the P-P. During the snow season I would take my class Cross Country Skiing once a week for the whole school day. I didn't have to teach them as we had instructors for that. I would just ski along helping out when I could. Re. Lynne's visit she will arrive Saturday and leave Wednesday. All being well I have booked Mindy into the Vets on Monday morning as Lynne has a bigger pet carrier and can help me load Mindy. If together we fail then I told the Vet that Mungo will use that appointment as he is due for one. I am enjoying the Richard Osman book. Have any of your books arrived? Have a great day.
