splashed--I am still in one piece and as sane as I am ever going to be. Yesterday I needed some pills but had to see a doctor. Mine was solid booked so decided to go to after hours but before I could go Jessica said the pharmasist could handle it but when I phones the girl didn't have a clue and said the pharmasist would call back. Waited over an hour,no call so got SIL to take me to after hours --was there at 5:30 and never saw the doctor until 7:30,then it was get the prescription filled and never got home until after 8. Fed a cat.some quick supper and off to bed(of course with all the turmoil,couldn't get to sleep so as a result never woke until 7:40. Flew  around here and was ouit of here by 8:30. The tour of the city because the bridge is under repair,saw the doctor and I was back home by 9:30 so did the wash. I am not firmly seated for the rest of the day. It did snow yesterday but not stay--today sun and 1. Glad to hear that O is corresponding with you at least though facebook. Have a good day.

Hello Ed, that is GREAT that you have had another message from not so little O. It seems like the ice has been broken. As to what I am reading....I am about to finish another Jack Reacher book by Lee Child. The series is a go to when I don't want to overthink anything. Just get immersed in the story. A distraction. I have a few interesting books next to my bed waiting. One that I am leaning towards is a true story about the war in Syria 2012 and a Library that was secretly established underground. I am always interested in true stories about people saving books.

Hello Ed, glad tht tou both enjoyed your trip to town. I have had a quiet day here. The gardener came this morning and I have been catching up on my washing. My nephew Allen, is going to checkout a respite hospital for Mum tomorrow. I spoke to her on the phone earlier today and she is enjoying using a walker and exploring. She has also been doing her excersises and her Physio is pleased with her progress. Enjoy your new day.

Morning splash-- mallard ty. It  is once again an overcast day that is dull and they are forecasting light snow this afternoon--winter has not left yet!! I of course have all the things to do that are usual but also have to have the counter tops in the kitchen bare by Fri.,dishes all done and in the cupboard as apparently the exterminators are coming in to put stuff down. We don't have bugs but I guess maybe there is some somewhere' Hope your walk was good and the fresh air has you all raring to go.
