Morning splash--field mouse ty It is -12 and light snow this morning but we are waiting for a big storm today. It has hit the southern U.S. and they have freezing rain and ice everywhere but no equipment to deal with it. That -23 was the temperature not the feels like which was -40 and let me tell you it gets you moving in a hurry  even it you have trouble doing it. Kevin has returned my apartment and me to calm again==the reading glasses were push almost out the other side of my bed but seen as I can get down there I couldn't see them. Got all the groceries and extras that I wanted and Kevin checked the storage locker(nothing really missing but part of my shelving got broken and one cooler I had in there, all organized and the Christmas stuff is now back in. Today I have a small pork roaast to cook for supper and any thing else to go with it and I can relax and watch the storm if it comes. You outing sounds like it was ok except for the rubber steak. (do you need your steak well done--we eat them mediun rare except for Kevin and he gets it blue--no usually tough that wasy,) Have a good Sunday.

Hello Ed, TY for the mouse. I tured the hose off after filling it. I will attach a sprinkler to it tomorrow and see how it goes. Much cooler here today. I am sitting outside as I write to you and I can here the surf. Almost time to bring Mungo and Mindy in as night is falling. I don't think that Mungo has a friend as he really would not know what to do. He was desexed when he was quite a young kitten. I think that he was most likely sheltering under the house. HaHa, they just had a hissing scrap and when I shouted at them they both looked the other way as if to say, "It wasn't me." Enjoy your day.

Hello Ed, TY for the Mallard. Sorry that you did not enjoy the Italian meal. I hope that Sausage enjoyed her celebration and the handbag. Yes that is a lot of money to spend. My favourite handbag cost me about $30 dollars in Aldi about 20 years ago. It is leather. Still not sure that I have sorted the hose / tap. I am about to turn it off and go and make dinner. Enjoy your day.

Hello Ed, it seems that I have to fill the hose before using it then leave it in the sun for 24 hours to iron out crinkles from packaging. Then leave it in a straight Iine. I think that I have done that??? Complicated outdoor tap system. Why do they make things so difficult? I will now put all of my 3 bins out for collection in the morning. My gardener placed my green bin out last week as he decided it was too heavy for me. I lifted the lid earlier to put some more green waste in it only to see that someone walking past my house had put a drink can in it. Grrrr! Honestly some people???

MORNING SPLASH--TO SAY THE LEAST IT IS COLD THIS MORNING--IT IS -23 AND LOOKS CLEAR!! Don=t even want to know the feels like temperature. I am still planning and hoping we get out and get all my list of stuff done this morning/ We didn't seem to get a lot of snow overnight but never know what Kevin has and if he has to blow his way out. I will habe a busy Monday--they have been in yesterday and figured out what they need to fix my ceiling in the bathroom starting monday and hopefully maintenence is working on the heating problem and then I can just curl up in here and hibernate for awhile. No appointments until at least a month and by then maybe we will be starting to thaw out. Have a good day and enjoy your meal out with no kids!!!

Oh I forgot to mention the tennis. It would have been hideous on the open courts. I believe that they suspended play. I will take a peek on the TV before going to bed.

Hello ED, TY for,the other mouse. After writing to you 11 minutes ago I went and watered my tomatoes and pot plants again. I need to buy another hose to add a sprinkler to. Sadly Ieft a hose at Thornbury. Too much to think about at the time of moving. And yes, far too hot to go to the beach even though I have the use of the boat shed. One of Terase's daughters is having a Hens weekend so I guess that the boat shed would be full anyway. As well as the car parking. Night is slowly falling if not the temperature. Enjoy your new day.

Hello ED, TY for the mouse. Still 31 degrees here. Re our donation bins, they are metal with pull down for depositing. Happily Mungo eventually came home. Goodness only knows why he´wanted to stay outside in the heat. Enjoy your day.

Dianne and Golden Haired Dancer Rye Victoria, Australia1 day, 12 hours ago

Hello Ed, it is getting hotter here today. I walked around for my morning coffee earlier than usual as I wanted to beat the heat and also the many visitors. I am now waiting for Mungo to come inside to enjoy the cool of the A/C. Mindy is already inside. I worry about not only the heat for the cats but also snakes. That is worrying re. Sandra and the wrong phone number. Perhaps next time ask the Hairdresser to phone you. I am sure that they will understand. I hope that I didn't wake you.

Splashed--- it is -15 and light snow this morning but we are going into a deep freeze.I hope not because Kevin will be over and I need groceries.I went down to the office yesterday and managed to catch someone--told them I am cold and not enough heat is in my apartment--no more questions asked--he filled aout a maintenence request and they lent me a heater that was brand new and still in its box--much better as it at lkeast blows the heat around. I also have to get Kevin to get down and look under my bed(I can't get down there) to see if my reading glasses have slide under there. In the night as I reached for my water I knocked of my book and glasses--looked all over there but hope they have skidded under the bed(tried with the mop to brush inder ther but they did not appear. Golf is on here in full force--American Express tournament and quite a few names we know are playing including Sheffler and Day. Have a good day
