Good morning splash-- The sun has arrived in its full glory this morning but its not veery warm at only  but can't have everything. It cleared up yesterday  so I got a phone call -- grandson John was the first one to get a bird but I think the others were putting him in the best spot that theyknew of because he only has the weekend to shoot--now we need the other 3 to be successful and they will all be happy'. Usually they cut up and share the meat but with turkeys there is not a lot to share and some parts such as the legs are rather tough. I hope when you go tomorrow you can find some easier puzzles toi have around for Sandra as for now at least if she doesn't have to tackle them alone is keeping her occupied,maybe withe the better weather a few nice little walks might be in order. A few things to get done this morning and then the day is mine--watched the womens golf--which was good but like you can't get into this pairs format so usually go off and find something else. Hello Ed, TY for the Mallard. Dinner now done, and I will soon be in bed to continue reading the book about the Australian book shop in Paris. I will not reccommend it as a book to read as it so slow. However for your info it is, 'Left Bank Waltz. The Autralian Bookshop in Paris' by Elaine Lewis. It opened in 1996. I wonder if it is still there? In the meantime I am going to hit the sack! Which is an interesting term for going to bed. I hope that you have a good day!

Hello Ed, I didnt visit Mum today as a brother and my nephew were there. So it has been worked out that I will visit on Wednesday as Mum has various appointments on Tues and Thurs. That means missing Art Group but Mum is more important. Enjoy your day!

Morning splash-- I don't know if the guys even got out this morning as I was woke at about 4 with a great old storm outside crashing, banging and amking enough noise that Sagwa joined me. It was right overhead when I woke and sounded like a bomb hitting the building. It has brightened quite nicely  so I may be ale to get the recycling down and not get wet. Yes a 500 piece puzzle will work fine keeping her occupied andthe brain and fingers active.I think most of it is the doing not what it is. Have a good day

Hello Ed, as I have told you the best thing about living here at the back beach in Rye is the community. Oh and also listening to the surf! Dinner now done and it was a delicious lasagne from the corner shop. A bit pricey but worth it. Mungo, cat, is now scratching at the door wanting to come out so I had best go inside as I don't want him out at night. I am reading a book about an Australian woman who established an Australian/ French book shop in Paris. At first it was interesting when she developed the idea but is now becoming a bit tedious although she has finally found the shop and now stocking it. True story. I will stay with it for the moment. Now I am off to bed. Enjoy your new day.

Hello Ed, the money was in an umarked envelope inside the book. A small piece of the envelope was sticking out of the book and Cheryl on the register told the customer that she would remove the 'rubbish' for her. Imagine their surprise when she found the money. It will go to the local charities that the shop supports. Local hospital, schools and the homeless. Mum has been in her unit for 24 hours now. A nurse came to shower her and help her dress this morning. She now has her dog Bella with her. I will visit her tomorrow and encourage her to go for a walk with me and Bella. It is important for both of them. Laters.
