Morning splash-- white mouse ty It is sunny at the moment and 7 so not a bad start to the day but its going down hill from here and rain moving in. Just in time for  Kevin to go hunting--but he has got birds in this kind of weather. He will be gone for 2 weeks so lots of time to get his 2 birds. Yes,Keep things simple and get puzzles with lots of colour definition so that doesn't get frustrating either. I did get the laundry all done yesterday and put away except for a couple of bathtowels and my winter sweat shirt felt a little damp so are hanging on the rack(will get them away in a bit. Hello Ed, that is a shame that Carol betrayed something that you asked to keep in cofidence. I am like you, if I am TOLD to keep something quiet, that is what I do. It was certainly T shirt weather today however by the time I got home from the Oppie I needed something warmer. Did I tell you about the nearly $900 found in a book on Monday?  No idea who donated the book. I am now flicking through all books as it seems that older people hide cash in books. When they pass away their family just bundle up books etc. to get rid of the items. I picked up my new glasses this morning. They seem to be doing the job.  At first when I tried them on they blurred a bit as I shifted my gaze. However I could read the bottem line of small print instantly. The optomertist looked squarely at me and told me she was going to adjust the glasses (frame?) and minutes later when she came back and I put them on all was good. I have since been wearing them all day, driving, reading..,.,.Now it is time for me to reheat my leftovers and watch a bit of TV. Enjoy your day!

Morning splash-- starting the day sunny and 6 but going to the upper teens so we should be fine today Tea attendance will be going down by 1 more as the lady who runs it is moving into a house with he daughter-- every one is tired of the  problems that arise now and mostly with the new imigrants that they put up in some apartments(no one abides by the rules and just do it the way they want.)At least Sandra is interested in the puzzles and doing them will keep the brain sort of active. Going down and getting a load of laundry in as I really need to get some done. I think some of the young and up and coming golfers do the lesser tournaments in hopes of getting points so they can play in the Fedex Cup--when you get the so called big boys they sort of dominate most of the time. Have a good day and enjoy the warmer weather.

Hello Ed, it is a lovely Autumnal day here. I am even sitting outside wearing a T shirt as I write to you. My new glasses have arrived in Rosebud so I have booked an appointment for tomorrow at 11 a.m. I am looking forward to that. A coffee shop friend told me today that he knows other people who have improved long distance sight and it is due to being outdoors more and not in front of a screen as I am now. However I keep looking up at the distance as I sit outside. I love that you quietly position jigsaw tiles nearby for Sandra and not placing them for yourself. In some ways I do that for Mum whilst teaching her how to solve Cryptic puzzles. I often know the answer and just gently drop hints. Mum leaves the Respite hospital in the morning after 4 weeks there. I know that she is nervous, however it has been decided that as her carers and therapy will start when she arrives it will be best. I understand that as if Mum went to the Island she would not get that help. My youngest brother is picking her up and once she is settled he will go and do food shopping for her. It has been decided that Mums dog will stay on the Island until she is ready to look after Bella. Chris and Cathy will take Bella, Mum's dog, for a visit on Saturday. I will visit Sunday!
