Bright sunny day, feeling better now yesterday is over, went out to Southwold to celebrate with fish and chips, had a nice slow drive over to see our friend Martin in the evening, his wife Celia was in her pool, it looked lovely but I didn't have my costume. Looking forward to tonight as hubby and I are going to the Pavilion Theatre to see a Fleetwood Mac tribute show called Songbird, my son-in-law is the drummer, they are fantastic and have a huge following, got to change all the beds today, making the most of the good weather, my cat Poppy-Vespurr is lazing in the sun rays preening herself, I've just seen her wash over her ears, oh no Poppy!! That means rain! LOL  x x

Awww glad it all went well. ☺️ We went to Milan to see friends. Our plane was struck by lightning and we had to turn back and land in Gatwick. Was quite an experience as I saw it on the wing where I was sat, the flash and the bang. It was one hell of a day having to change planes. We even were in the paper. Seeing the plane with the lightening hit was an eye opener as to how lucky we were. We should have landed in Milan at 2.30 that day instead we landed 11 pm and had dinner at 11.30. Rest of the trip was amazing. 🙏
