We have very beautiful beaches,  but here in Victoria its cold 80% of the year and the water is freezing.  Its a different story up North on the east coast,  and western Australia, the waters are warm. I need to drive over an hour to get to the ocean beaches, but there rough and dangerous.  In Melbourne we have the bay beaches.
