Good morning Linda. Another beautiful day here as well but I’ve just being reading the weather forecast and apparently, from tomorrow the heatwave is going to end with thunderstorms! My son is going to cut our grass later, it’s a job Steve loved doing, putting stripes in the lawn, it was his pride and joy. Stephen does a good job, seeing he only took over when his dad could no longer do it, he’ll make do with a bacon ‘butty’ and a cup of coffee 😂 I was chatting to my sister-in-law yesterday, they had planned to downsize but doing all the jobs that needed doing before putting it up for sale, they’ve now decided to stay put. Why should someone else get all the benefit…or worse, not like what you did. So they’ve put it on hold for the moment. In all the years we’ve been here, we’ve never thought of moving. I don’t think I could stand all the upheaval of packing up 😂 We’d need an artic., lorry to pack Steve’s trains in!I did two lots of washing yesterday and ironed it, so I might just spend some time in the garden as well. Garden recycling on Tuesday, so may as well make use of it, seeing as how we pay extra to have it collected. There’s a lot of things that you can no longer buy on the high street and there are items that you need to see before buying. Anyway, have a lovely day…hope you get Matt a new bed and the items you need for Bobbie, you’re a good mum! xx
