Good evening Carmen, how has your day been? Did your sister let you know whether mum had a good night? Fairyland has been fine for me today, mum and Annie too but another friend who didn't have problems on Wednesday had them today! I think it's probably all to do with the changeover that's coming but a few words of reassurance might be nice. I cannot imagine what it must be like in the States right now, people scared to go to work, to school because of ICE. The media has been showing some really distressing and very concerning stories over here and they seem to be occurring more and more frequently. It doesn't seem real that it's happening in America. In the year 2026. A couple of friends have said they think Martial Law is a real possibility.

Scary times my friend, scary times. When will you leave to spend the weekend with mom? Heard from the doctor today following my blood draw on Monday and it's indicating my blood sugars are in the pre- diabetic range so now I have something else to worry about *sigh* I had a good afternoon and made two batches of cupcakes - a vanilla batch decorated with icing and sugar strands and a double chocolate batch for Luke. Blueberry Muffins for dad when I get some butter and then everyone will be happy! Enjoy what's left of your day, have a restful evening and enjoy a good night's sleep when you go. Hugs xx
