THE NEGLECTED FAIRY

Oh why do I sigh,
And moan, and cry
About how very much
Time goes by
When I don't pay attention
To my inner fay,
(I really don't want her
To fly away!)
So instead let me sit
And write some lines,
Hoping to get a poem
That really shines,
`Cause the fairy within me
Needs time for fun
Lest she get cranky
And come undone.
If I do a good job,
She'll soar to new heights
When I dust out the cobwebs
And turn on the lights;
Together we'll go
To a magical place
That will put a sweet grin
On her tiny face.
She will flutter her wings,
Sing some sparkling songs
In a place filled with magic,
Where she truly belongs!

Good evening Carmen . Another  sunny and hot day but love it . Better than heavy rain. The care home had a singer so Eilish was outside when we got there so we sat with her for 2 hours . Have a good weekend

Happy Friday Carmen ~ Day #2 of ca==kitchen cabinet redo.  We will head out for lunch in a bit as kitchen area is off limits for us till evening.  Hope you continue to have user friendly temps; we usually have to put a/c on in afternoon here when temps get to mid 70's.  Will go over to catch up with Liam on Sunday as he goes to diabetes camp next Wed for a week.  He's been going for several years now.  His Mom is a nurse and works as the camp nurse when Liam goes to camp.  Hope you have a great day, take care, stay safe and enjoy your day.  Dreading turning on the news these days.  :(
