The Footstep Fairies

The footstep fairies follow you
Wherever you may walk,
And when you tread the grasses down,
They push back every stalk.
Though you may watch for hours,
But hide themselves behind your feet,
And in among the flowers.
Then, when you've gone along your way,
They tug with might and main,
Till all the little blades of grass
Are standing straight again.

Morning Carmen ~ The sun is hiding today, in mid 50's with hopes to see low 70's.  Hope it warms up a tad as have plants to get in the dirt.  Neighbor across the street just dropped off some apple pie which Bob quickly ate.  Guy has a tape worm.  He wants to go get clams one day this week (no digging) there is a fresh shell fish place not too far from us; easier than digging them.  Think they primarily deal in clams and oysters.  Hope you have a great day today, take care, stay safe and enjoy the day.  It's always good to get help in the kitchen and elsewhere in the house!

Hoping my message finds you in good health today.
Thank you for your visit(s) and thank you to all those wishing me speedy recovery. I'm still hanging in there, hopeful that I do not get any worse 🤞🏽 I'm using Prednisone (a steroid) and have antibiotics on hand 😊
Went to quiz night last night, it was a struggle towards the end but got home tucked up in bed by 9pm. We only placed 4th but it was a lot of fun just the same 🥰
