Hi Keith! Yes, my house is on a very small lake (11 acres) It belongs equally to the houses around it, because it is so small, you cannot use a power boat on it, you could canoe or kayak but nobody does. In the winter though, you can walk on the ice and sometimes the children put up a hockey net. I had always wanted a house on a lake, so when I found this one, and it was only a wee smidgen more than I wanted to pay, I grabbed it as fast as I could. Halfway through the mortage now- I bought it in 2009. The lake and the wild buffer area between the yard and the water are why there's so much wildlife around.
