Hi Kim, its been a dry day here but rained this evening. My garden is in a badly needed tidy up too, l try to leave the weed and dead plant pulling until at least April for insects time to come out of hibernation. Aw do wish Thomas a very Happy Birthday from me. My first dog as a young child ,was Lassie was a German Shepherd and she too was very protective of me and very loyal... she was my baby and l hers. My last dog was a Boxer breed and was a rescue, she had had 13/14 previous owners by the time she was 10 months old. Too lively and puppy like, she settled well here with me . She just needed a calm atmosphere and time spent one on one. I miss him so much and feel saddened l am unable to take on more in the home. Hubby and l have sponsored several dogs that were on the permanent residents list as they were deemed not fit for rehoming for various reasons. We only sponsor this type of dog at double the cost of sponsorship of other dogs at Dogs Trust. This provides one on one training and care. So far of the last six , one long term girl passed away, one had to be put to sleep 3 were rehomed and the Greyhound we sponsor now is doing well and enjoying life. Do rest up now you have a couple of days off love... night night xxx
