Good morning Lizzy. I’m glad you are not experiencing any pain. Hopefully you can keep it that way until your surgery. Both girls like their food but we have to use toppers to entice them. Penny gets a dental powder sprinkled on along with a probiotic and Piper gets a probiotic. I don’t want to waist the dental powder on her because she has her baby teeth that she will lose. I’ll sprinkle it on when she has her adult teeth. It’s very cold here this morning. It’s 5° and bitter cold. I believe in Celsius it would be -15. I took Penny out this morning and we were out there for only a minute. She peed and then was holding up her paws and standing up against me to pick her up. About 20 minutes later, I had to bring her back out so she could finish doing her business. She just can’t handle the cold on her paws. She had a sweater and a jacket on and she was shivering when we came in. The Havanese breed is not made for the cold. She is only 11 pounds and even though we live in the cold temp, she is not used to it because we are not out in it when it’s so cold other than to do our business. It’s supposed to be warming up a bit later and the sun is going to come out so that should help. I hope you are enjoying your day. Have a great weekend.💜
