To all you lovely Fairies that were asking about my little dog Shaddow.🐩 He is almost back to his old (young) self. I took him to the Vet Saturday morning because he was so miserable and anytime I tried to pick him up he screamed and almost had a go at me. I wrapped him in a couple of layers of a towel to cushion him. The Vet checked him out manually and he allowed her to do that. They did diagnostic imaging and couldn't see anything wrong, so booked him in for Xray's this morning and would anesthetise him. Only open half days Saturday so not enough time. They injected him with a pain killer and gave me (I had to buy, don't give anything away) more to give him for five days. Sunday morning, he jumped off the bed, I took both dogs outside, he wasn't ready to come back when other dog Toby, was, so left him. Next thing, he came in through the 'doggy' door, first time he'd used it since becoming unwell. Next, he was back up on the bed. He did seem to be back to his normal self. Vet had thought maybe he'd jumped down off of something and landed awkwardly and hurt himself. She kept talking about a cruciate ligament injury.😟🙁 That's one thing I've noticed, not keen to jump up on "his" lounge or any other chairs in the lounge room, maybe that is how he hurt himself. Cancelled today's appointment, so I don't have to go out and get a job to pay for it, after all. 😉😀 He thanks you all for your good wishes. x🧡x
