As most of you knew Anne and I were to look after my grandkids for the weekend however that was just a trick to get me packed and ready to be away from home for a weekend. When I got to Ross's and opened the door to the garage there were Anne and Ross standing with 80 and Happy birthday balloons. I birthday was last September when I fell an d got concussion so it couldn't be celebrated and this was the first weekend they could figure out when to have the celebration! Ross drove my car and we went off to the cottage a couple of hours away. When we got there another surprise the grandchildren came running out Wishing me happy birthday. The cottage was decorated to the hilt, just beautiful all rose gold. Amy had taken the kiddies out of school Friday and gone up and put up the decorations and prepared food. I was really in a state of shock! Had a wonderful weekend, look like a lobster as my face got sunburned on the boat ride we took in Ross's new toy which is fabulous. Anne and I left around 6 and the others were to follow us. However it didn't turn out that way since Amy's car would not start and as of a few minutes ago they were still stuck up there!
So sorry for late Sprinkles but no internet at the cottage.
I am thankful for a wonderful weekend , the decorations, the food, the fabulous gifts, the great weather, everything!
