Thanks so much for spotting the
red Wiggly and collecting gemstones
~ We are just 2 degrees shy of our
predicted high of 47 and are overcast,
as well ~ We don't plant tomatoes over
here until Memorial Day weekend ~
Johnathon met with the surgeon today
and has to both quit smoking and
lose some weight before the CT Scan
and preop physical ~ He's addressing
the hernia issue, finally ~ Best of luck
to Bob ~ Hope you enjoy what's left of
your day and congrats on getting most
of your planting done   ☘️

THE NEGLECTED FAIRY

Oh why do I sigh,
And moan, and cry
About how very much
Time goes by
When I don't pay attention
To my inner fay,
(I really don't want her
To fly away!)
So instead let me sit
And write some lines,
Hoping to get a poem
That really shines,
`Cause the fairy within me
Needs time for fun
Lest she get cranky
And come undone.
If I do a good job,
She'll soar to new heights
When I dust out the cobwebs
And turn on the lights;
Together we'll go
To a magical place
That will put a sweet grin
On her tiny face.
She will flutter her wings,
Sing some sparkling songs
In a place filled with magic,
Where she truly belongs!
