splashed--The sun is shining and a heavy frost overnight but everything being equal we are supposed to get near springlike  temps. today. Most everyone called me full name of Diane but my husband called me Di and I was okay with that. Beside his name was Stanley Lawrence and from the time he was born he was called Lorne and hated the legal stuff and being called Stanley!!! Grandson Ry will be over this morning for a visit(he hasn't been over much lately as his hours at the rink were mainly later in the day and evenings and seen as I go to bed early we didn't visit. Have a good day

Hello No she doesnt.only her son lives there too. He helps where he can and her 2 daughters ...one lives opposite her! So between us we are aware!

Evening Dianne, sorry I got the wrong end of the stick thinking your brothers were being unkind to their mum in pushing what they think on to her. Well done for getting in touch & getting involved. I'm extremely happy to wake up this morning to discover WW3 hasn't started. It's another fine day here today, even close to shorts weather. So I'll do a bit more in the garden. Tracey was here for a while last evening. I asked her what it cost her to take Jake skiing for the week. She said Jakes side was around £2000, Wow! that surprised me how pricey skiing can be. Anyway I'll help her out with that. Had a nice letter from our Inland Revenue saying I have to pay back £150 as they sent me what they call winter fuel allowance for us of an older generation. But apparently I didn't qualify because of my income.  No wonder this government is so hated. Don't think whatever you do or say your mum will still say 'I'm OK'. It's in her nature. Some times you have to mind read..Have a pleasant evening listening to the surf. Good news the three books I have on order have now gone from 'pending' to 'Transit'. So they could all arrive together, that will keep me busy.  Have fun.

I'm back from shopping in record time. We don't argue any more about what we need she just goes along with what I say. Makes life so much easier. Your mum sounds such a sweetie not wanting to offend peeps. Your doing the right thing in setting up a chat line. Don't know if you do WhatApp, but that's the easiest way to set up a group chat.I am involved in a few myself. I would think that you being the eldest of your family you should always have the casting vote. After all it's about keeping your mum happy. Your mum sounds like mine was. Put up with all sorts so as not to offend. In fact because of that most of her married life was miserable. Which is another story. Evening Dianne, I've just seen some pictures of Alexander Palace which is where I used to go roller skating. It was a decent walk from where I lived. I love it when these pictures from down memory lane appear. Fond memories. Had a call from my pal Kev, the chap who went to live with a much younger lady some eight months ago. He is back to where he belongs now. He missed the grand children so much. He says it's a bit frosty now back home. What did he expect? May be seeing him tomorrow evening..He is the missing link in our group.Had summit else I was going to tell you but it's dropped out of my head. I have mentioned before but it takes me a while to get into gear..Off to the supermarket now. I've instructed Sandra to pick out what she wants for dinners through the week, Only when I suggest things she turns her nose up..We shall see how that goes...
