Friday night splashes 🌼

Evening Dianne, it's just on freezing point this morning a slight improvement. I had every intension of getting up much earlier to watch the end of day one of the Ashes test match from Perth. Not sure of the time difference there? Glad I didn't now as I see England are in trouble already. When I was a kid The Ashes was always the talk of the playground, but now kids don't even know it's on. When I come to think about it the two most important sport events of the years were the cricket & the Boat Race. All the kids either  supported Oxford or Cambridge. Different world now. Fancy you using chalks on the garage wall. lol. There's something about painting wall that appeals to young children. Sometimes the simple things work best. A thing my grandchildren used to love was to have their own small bucket of water & a paint brush & paint our outside walls, they loved it. Don't know why but it worked. Bit like bouncing those ping balls into a bucket with Little Ed. Simple things can work..Hope your having a good day....Have a fun evening.

Hello Dianne, it aint arf cold here this morning, @ 0c..Brrrrrr. That tree /plant man sounds perfect. Often here some of those guys advertise well but turn out to be cowboys or retired printers. lol. I take it he will be hired by you?. The icing on the cake was you giving him the painting. It made you happy knowing it was going to a good home & he was over the moon with your generosity. Yes Little Elliot is lovely. He gets frustrated that he can't do the things we do. But he sure tries. He is best in the water, he looks like a natural swimmer. As all of my grand children look professional in the water. That's the beauty of swimming lessons @ such an early age. Nothing like that when I was a kid. I did learn to swim a bit later in life but am never happy in the water...I'm so pleased you found a smart Lopper..I make it about 8pm there & your settling down for the evening. So enjoy along with the satisfaction of a good day. It's duster & hoover time for me...
