Hi once more, not being a foodie i thought Marmite/vegemite/ & Yeast Extract were all one of the same. I just need something to give me a lift first thing in the morning. Although last night I felt exhausted after watching Collingwood play. The game must have been a late start to be on live here. After suffering that it was another clash of the darting titans. Will your mum be able to carry on where she left off with the activity's @ the village. Another question from your oldest pupil, why do some words have ies & others just 's? I wish I'd payed more attention @ school although being dyslexic I find it hard to retain some information. Or do you think I wasn't paying attention?. lol. I'll have a go @ the egg on toast with some of the black stuff. Have a happy evening. I just need to have a clean up here, especially the kitchen seeing as Sandra has retired from all that mundane stuff. Keeps me busy...Enjoy the surf... The last entry I saw on your F/bk page was about ANZAC day..So can you guide me to Nurse Grace please. ?? Have fun.

TY, have a nice day

Morning Dianne, happy Friday & May day to you. I looked on your F/bk page & couldn't see a picture of Grace. Her story sounds like something from Neighbours when Charlene became a car mechanic. That was back in the day when most peeps watched it so it was always a topic  of conversation.. Anyway, well done Grace. Has she got a place in a hospital? ..Well done on finishing the book about a bookshop in Paris. I did plough on to the finish of Elizabeth Finch. In fairness the last part did make sense. You need to make a note about transferring tape to dvd . Think how excited your grandchildren would be  to see all your talent on screen. Dinner this evening was salad for Sandra & I had what looked like a big burger with nuts in it. It was once again something I found lurking in the back of the freezer. I have also pulled out stuff that had a expiry date back to 2023. Certainly making spare space, There are three boxes of ice lollies in there. Hope it's a hot summer so I can enjoy them...I watched Collingwood v Hawthorn earlier. What a exciting game. Enjoy the day...

I'm still here, lol.I've just researched video recorders & to my amazement you can still buy them. I notice the prices are back to when they first came on the market. When I bought my fist one it cost well over two hundred pounds with a tape @ twelve pounds fifty. Not a lot of peeps know that. lol. Hope you enjoyed your dinner..I'm still contemplating on going into town. I just feel the need to get out. lol.

Hello! have a nice day

Ed and linnypoos1 day, 1 hour ago

Hi Dianne, I can relate to your dad copying stuff when it was all the rage. I did the same but with video recording. In fact I still have a few in the draw upstairs. We do still have a video player in Odeon one, not that I will ever watch these saved ones again. Think I told you I ran a video club when I worked on a newspaper. It was in the days when you could get hold of pirate copies of the latest films. Just started a new puzzle with Sandra. Not sure if it will work out as it looks a bit tricky. So I guess your mum is doing ok? I've just got to hang some washing out seeing it's a nice sunny day. TTFN. Enjoy your meal..

Evening Dianne, I'm getting used to these early morning get ups. Mind you it's not hard in the summer. I've just polished off some cake for breakfast. This not wanting waste makes me eat odd things @ odd times. I don't really like cake. lol. I'm continuing to clear out unwanted stuff from the big freezer. I'll get there in the end. Hope your having a good day. I may go to town later just to see if I can get puzzles of 500 pieces  with lots of contrasting colours for Sandra. They doo seem to keep her busy. Is the first Monday in May a holiday there? Have a splendid evening. Hope Mungo is ok..Have fun....FM......fanx.

Hi Dianne
Hope you have woken to a good day
I'm glad your mum has settled into the village. What sort of dog does she have?
I went to the William Morris Gallery today. It was very nice. The grounds were beautiful too. It was just warm enough for a picnic.
Puppy class tonight. It went well.
I'm off to bed now
Goodnight

Morning Dianne, hope Mungo is ok. Not an over exciting day here. Did bottle my beer which of course is important. The rest of the day I have been a good boy. lol. Audio book for me has gone to bad foe worse. It's drifted into ancient history.  Why is it that i is before e except after c but not always?? This evening I've been to Stockholm for an hour followed by a journey to Slab City in a California dessert. I really enjoyed the Slab City programme. Will be off to bed soon. This long covid is still with me. So how is your mum doing? Hope you have a good day.
