Goodnight Dianne, I've now got a nice shiny car, & have hoovered inside. Why do they put carpet in cars that are like velcro. Makes them hard to look good. Then I think it's only a car, what the hell. lol. Sleep well after your journey to Moscow.

It's drizzling here.
I wish I'd learned to knit from my grandma. She crocheted too. Sadly I was only 5 when she died so didn't get the chance. It's a worry that women don't live long in my family.
The shortbread was delicious.  Still some left. It's pastry week next week. Not sure what I will make.
Off to Sunborn Hotel today. It's a yatch moored near Excel centre in London. I am having afternoon tea with my friend.

Hello Dianne, what a lovely trend your parents set for you. I get the feeling I missed out there. Don't remember my parents reading much @ all. Mum did when she got older, & I mean in her late sixties & then it was big print books. I would pick them up @ a local library. What used to amuse me was that most big print books have the initials of the peeps who had read them. That was good for me as I would never get her a book she had already signed. lol. I'm seriously thinking about giving my car a clean today. Got it's annual test Friday & want to give a good looking appearance. At the moment the inside & outside are a disgrace. Once again I'm working on my theory that if I tell peeps I will do it I will. So easy to put off. lol. Have a Wonderful evening. How is Moscow looking?

Hello Dianne, do love your mum with her sense of humour. LOL..Your getting quite a class what with her & me in your front row. Your have to get your mum a lunch box lol. What a day yesterday for sport. After the golf it was The Blue Jays baseball team who had to win their last league game to win the division & go straight into the play-offs. After 162 games they were top on batting average. The Jays are Diane's team also. When the old lady died next door I had all of her artist stuff. She was a prolific enthusiastic painter. I have an easel in the loft & it must be about fifty different brushes. I just took them incase any of the family were interested. But mobile phones turned up soon after so that ruled everything. Continue having a good day.

Morning Dianne, I've had a lovely evening with All Creatures G & S. A programme through the ages. Can't believe the first series was in 1978. They have interviews with the original players.I didn't see any of the early ones as I was working nights then. To be honest I think the programme is better now,  as they showed a couple of the early ones & i wasn't all that impressed. Could be because the characters were different. Kept me well entertained for the evening. Hope you had a good nights sleep in Moscow. Have a happy Sunday. 

You still awake? I've just Googled Dr W C Minor & then gone to Legacies. There is a precise of his life. I did wonder why he killed someone, & now I know.Don't think his time in the Union army helped him. Anyway it was a great read about a guy I had never heard of. I have to go to Australia for my senior education. lol..
