Morning Dianne, having read your message about your mum perhaps going back to her village Friday. A decision made by your brothers & cousin. I'm with you in thinking what right have they got to decide that. It's not as if she isn't as sharp as a razor. It's amazing that when your kids get older they think they are entitled to make decisions for you.I get that from my two girls & have to pull them up saying I will decide what's happening. I have been on my travels again this evening. N.Z. & then into a swamp somewhere with peeps who live in the wild..Scraps left over from Sunday for my dinner again. Fish for Sandra. All easy. splashed-- It is sunny and quite cold at -8 but the worst of it is we awoke this morning to everything white and it is really snowing hard at the moment. I have trouble voicing my opinion at time--fear of offending I think but got to get over that and speak out as  a couple of my kids are very vocal at times and its not what I want.  Have a good day

I'm back from shopping in record time. We don't argue any more about what we need she just goes along with what I say. Makes life so much easier. Your mum sounds such a sweetie not wanting to offend peeps. Your doing the right thing in setting up a chat line. Don't know if you do WhatApp, but that's the easiest way to set up a group chat.I am involved in a few myself. I would think that you being the eldest of your family you should always have the casting vote. After all it's about keeping your mum happy. Your mum sounds like mine was. Put up with all sorts so as not to offend. In fact because of that most of her married life was miserable. Which is another story. Evening Dianne, I've just seen some pictures of Alexander Palace which is where I used to go roller skating. It was a decent walk from where I lived. I love it when these pictures from down memory lane appear. Fond memories. Had a call from my pal Kev, the chap who went to live with a much younger lady some eight months ago. He is back to where he belongs now. He missed the grand children so much. He says it's a bit frosty now back home. What did he expect? May be seeing him tomorrow evening..He is the missing link in our group.Had summit else I was going to tell you but it's dropped out of my head. I have mentioned before but it takes me a while to get into gear..Off to the supermarket now. I've instructed Sandra to pick out what she wants for dinners through the week, Only when I suggest things she turns her nose up..We shall see how that goes...
