Hello Dianne, what a lovely trend your parents set for you. I get the feeling I missed out there. Don't remember my parents reading much @ all. Mum did when she got older, & I mean in her late sixties & then it was big print books. I would pick them up @ a local library. What used to amuse me was that most big print books have the initials of the peeps who had read them. That was good for me as I would never get her a book she had already signed. lol. I'm seriously thinking about giving my car a clean today. Got it's annual test Friday & want to give a good looking appearance. At the moment the inside & outside are a disgrace. Once again I'm working on my theory that if I tell peeps I will do it I will. So easy to put off. lol. Have a Wonderful evening. How is Moscow looking?

We had a thunderstorm here in Malta yesterday evening! Very loud claps of thunder then very close lightening which turned off the lights etc for a few mins till the emergency power came on! Didn’t last very long but the amount of rain that came down was in believable! lol! We sat in the large bar area with our drinks and watched!❤️

Hello Dianne, do love your mum with her sense of humour. LOL..Your getting quite a class what with her & me in your front row. Your have to get your mum a lunch box lol. What a day yesterday for sport. After the golf it was The Blue Jays baseball team who had to win their last league game to win the division & go straight into the play-offs. After 162 games they were top on batting average. The Jays are Diane's team also. When the old lady died next door I had all of her artist stuff. She was a prolific enthusiastic painter. I have an easel in the loft & it must be about fifty different brushes. I just took them incase any of the family were interested. But mobile phones turned up soon after so that ruled everything. Continue having a good day.

Morning Dianne, I've had a lovely evening with All Creatures G & S. A programme through the ages. Can't believe the first series was in 1978. They have interviews with the original players.I didn't see any of the early ones as I was working nights then. To be honest I think the programme is better now,  as they showed a couple of the early ones & i wasn't all that impressed. Could be because the characters were different. Kept me well entertained for the evening. Hope you had a good nights sleep in Moscow. Have a happy Sunday. 

You still awake? I've just Googled Dr W C Minor & then gone to Legacies. There is a precise of his life. I did wonder why he killed someone, & now I know.Don't think his time in the Union army helped him. Anyway it was a great read about a guy I had never heard of. I have to go to Australia for my senior education. lol..

Hello Dianne, that's an amazing dictionary story. I did think about ordering the Lost Words book but thought I'd leave that until I've read the Bookbinders one. All sounds fascinating. Be interesting to hear about Dr Minor. They say genius & insanity have a very close relationship..You've sure covered a lot of ground with your reading over the years. Hello Dianne, that Pip Williams book sounds interesting & surely took you down the path of the English language. The directory of lost words sounds like fun...Tonight is the first of a new series of All Creatures G & S. They pick it up in 1945 just after the end of the war. So I'm looking forward to that. I don't know about being a good husband, it's just I like to be busy.. Do you do Instagram? I do but don't if you know what I mean. lol. I follow Olivier, it helps me to see her growing up. Sadly it is possible I will never see her face to face again So I can watch her develop into adult ship. Enjoy your dark book..Have a goodnights sleep... 

It's only me! I meant to say that yesterday on my pre shop meander I popped into the huge store next to the supermarket. It was like walking into a Christmas Wonderland. I thought it's a bit early for this but it gave out a lovely atmosphere. They still had their usual stuff @ the back, the store is that big. Have fun.
