I need to water the cactus plants tonight.  Some of the prickly pear plants re not looking so good (turning crunchy).  Randy won't eat but the little bit I gave him this morning of the leftover chicken & rice.  No dry food at all.  :(  Don says he'll eat when he's ready.  So we wait.  Take care!  xxx

Hi, Janet!  Thanks for the Yellow Wagtail and Pink Diamond!  :)  No one noticed it was his birthday, but we ran into a fellow at Saddle West who we keep running into and lives here in Mountain Falls.  He asked how we were so mentioned it was Don's birthday, etc.  Then he asked how old..."76"... our friend is 74 (my age).  Said he just was given an "all clean" for his recent colonoscopy.  His Colo-Guard came back positive, so needed the full colonoscopy.  We were very pleased for him.  Next time, I'll ask him his name.  Ha ha ha!  Don did get his pizza and when home again, had coffee and cupcakes. 

Not sure if Sandy will go over to the ER with her ankle, but living alone and not sure if it's broken or not, I think I would have gone.  Corwin said he would take her. 

I've been hunting all over for my clear plastic rulers for fabic cutting, etc.  Finally, finally located them.  I put a small plastic roll-around container under the craft table in here and you can't see the top of that 4-drawer roll around.  So I looked and there they were!!!!  Whew.  After losing the ring, I thought I was really losing it.

❤   thank you for your visit!  ツ Lion - thanks!  Hi Janet, all is well here.  Yes, time is flying by.  Secondary school for Elliot and Preschool for Wesley.  New baby Maxwell is growing like a little weed and already 14 lbs - he'll be 2 months on August 30.  George will start his preschool in January - I think they might call it something else in Australia.  I'll have to check.  All our little fellows growing up so quickly!  After many hot days, the past weekend was rain, rain, and more rain.  It was lovely!  It's starting to warm up again but I don't think it will be quite as hot as it was.  Thank goodness.  Did you get through your heat spell?  How is the new conservatory roof!?
