I love blue Jays, but we don't have them over here. We have Magpies and Crowas in our street, but of course those are too big for the bird house. But boy, the Crows are clever. I've once seen one sitting on a tree, with a chestnut in her beak and then she let the chestnut drop to the ground, flew down and looked if the chestnut had cracked. When it hadn't cracked (enough), she took it into her beak again, flew back up the tree and let it drop again. It was so cute. We have Squirrels too in our street, mostly red ones, but also a few grey. I've heard that the greys have come from America to Europe.
