Hello everyone...not a brilliant day weather-wise but at least better than that not a million miles away in Glencoe where the weather was 38oF with a feel of 15oF...now, that is worrying!! We managed 66oF/19oC by the way :) Neil has been doing the dreaded paperwork and has managed to get items related to the Guesthouse and previous business' that we have had dealings with within 5 large box files...brilliant. Four large boxes of rubbish to say "bye bye" to as well :) Neil is happy that his football team won this afternoon, yet to find out what happened to mine. Supper tonight is Macaroni Cheese with Stovies using Neil's special recipe...very Scottish :) McMurdo appears to be doing well but both of us are keeping an eye on him...a few people have asked me to put some photographs of the whiskered one on my FB page...will go through the ones taken and put a few there asap. Hello everyone...almost bedtime but just enough time for sprinkle...much of the day was taken up with engineers, speed tests for upload and download re: our broadband problem...it is better this evening but still have a few glitches...luckily, it didn't throw a wobbly whilst watching NCIS on Fox TV :) McMurdo hasn't been at his best once again and has had loads of hugs and cuddles to reassure him...he has had a few "shaking" episodes but in between is up for a wee play and of course food. Vet suggests we monitor him for the next few days and see....Neil cooked another gorgeous fish supper this evening...slight variations to last nights dish but just as lovely. Have noted a lot of cars today from Germany, Italy and France...one asked directions to Fort Augustus so in English and French managed to give instructions, also gave a young couple of cyclists from Italy some bottled water as they were parched. It is funny how after all the years at the Guesthouse and thinking we wouldn't meet so many people from around the World...we most certainly are...courtesy, assistance and generosity are all free and it is lovely to be able to help people even with just the small things of life.
