Mackinaw Island is a lively place to visit, but an absolute madhouse during tourist season and super expensive. I haven't been in years...I'm thinking 20, and that trip was paid for by the nursing agency I worked for to go see a client. I made the mistake of coming to the front door and was promptly told to go around back. Lol...evidently nurses are considered part of "the help". The client was about 90 and old school.snooty. Most homes on the island are summer homes for the very wealthy. Lots of history there. Hope you're having a good day. Any Mother's Day plans? Sending love,.hugs and rubz 💟
