❤️ Spotted a Mallard, thank you, Marguerite ❤️

Morning Marguerite yes the rain was most welcome and it’s wet out there so looks like it rained through the night too . The gardener did come and they made short work of the jungle . He says my back lawn coukd do with some top dressing so glad it’s rained on it as he said to try and keep it wet . .he’s not quite finished but they will be back when they can . . Tried  to ring Andy the boiler  man but he’s away till the eighth so I shall have to boil the kettle if I want some hotwater . Take care looks a bit dull yet think it’s going to be one of those days when it dosnt know what to do at least it’s a bit cooler and we can sleep better . Have a good day xx

a quiet evening splash and wishing you a restful good night, Marguerite! you had a busy day! and 22C sounds absolutely heavenly. our high today was 33C, and it's super muggy. so, I really didn't do much of anything. I talked to my sister on the phone, and read. I picked up a burger for supper because I didn't want to deal with unloading groceries in the heat. so grocery shopping tomorrow. Dresden is curled up next to me and sends sleepy snuggles to you, and to Pippin. I'm sending Pippin many many ear rubs. take care, and hugs! xxx ❤️🌕🌺
