It seems once a project is started what needs to be done just multiplies.  I moved last year & in my mind packing was going to be a breeze...my mind lied :P 
That is so special about the sweater!  The pattern is very reminiscent of the 70s & I think that's why I like it.  And I think it will suit her perfectly :D  You know with granny squares & so many patterns from then coming back in style it is almost like going back in time lol  My daughter asked for a granny square halter a few year ago & I made her one.  It was the first needlework I learned how to do...the humble granny square :)
