Good morning Bev!  Burrr!  It's still mighty cold here.  It's 16 degrees here right now early morning.  We woke up to a few more inches of snow yesterday, but it was the fluffy kind.  Very easy to sweep off sidewalks & decks. 
Didn't win anything at the casino, but was a fun day.  Your friends puppy sounds just adorable! 
My internet seems to be back to normal this morning.  Hope it stays that way!
