Happy Wednesday! WOrk was a little better today and the weather was TONS better! Cold and no sun, but we were so very lucky last night! Just relaxing this evening and going to watch Survivor. Have a nice night!
It's kind of hard to say which is worse with a tornado- wood or brick/stone. With heavy winds the frame has a little more "give" to it, but overall masonry is stronger. Doesn't always help though- years ago in a little town about 15 minutes from here a tornado went though- there were people that went into an old brick building that's been standing for ages- thinking it would be safer- the tornado brought the building down and they were trapped and then it flooded....  very tragic! If it's big enough there's no place safe- safest place is underground so that's why I hid in the basement.
Hope they get everything sorted for you and figure out what's going on!  I'm happy for you that you finally got to see some sun today- yay!!!!  Dinner at a fundraiser with a friend tomorrow evening so might not have time to make the rounds tomorrow.
