Ebony and Misha do exactly the same thing to mum and I but only twice during the day! They herd mum to the kitchen when it's their dinnertime, one either side, pressed up against her leg, always the same dog on the same side. They do it to me of an evening when I go out to get their treat. And another thing, they both do the downward dog (as I call it from the yoga position) before I get up. I looked it up and it says they're just stretching or asking to play. I don't agree. They both do it, virtually in sync, either side of my table (and mum's legs) before we go get their food!!

Each evening after hubby and I sit outside Rylee and Jojo get the Zogo Flex toy with peanut butter in it from the freezer. I noticed last evening as I walked towards the kitchen to get them out, Rylee walking on my left, close to my leg. Jojo, on my right pressing against that leg. I occurred to me - they were "herding" me to the kitchen. It was an interesting feeling having them do this - their natural instincts kicking in to work together to direct something to a common goal. I was ridiculously pleased about this. I gave them their treat and I will see if they do it again tonight. Happy Wednesday.
