Hello Jennifer, TY for the SWM.  Re. the birds. During the heat I fill a large ceramic pot plant base with water for the birds.  I place it on a high work bench in my garden. They love it! I really should purchase another bird bath. I used to have one when I lived in Jamieson. Enjoy your day.

Morning Jennifer, I’m not liking this weather at all, I’m struggling with my asthma and having to use the fan just to get extra air. I’ve been getting up early, doing a few jobs, opening the windows and then shutting the curtains. Got little granddaughter after school, she’s requested an ice lolly and a shower, then some pizza for tea. Nice easy job.

Early morning sprinkles from alongside Nessie's Loch...
After a good night's sleep I decided to get up within minutes of 6am and enjoy the sun before it gets too strong for me...
The veranda beckoned me, so sat there with two cups of hot honey and lemon watching the wee beasties...the feathered ones all taking seed and nuts with two young voles enjoying the small, chopped pieces of apple mixed with dried cake fruit...the pine marten last night enjoyed larger pieces of chopped apple and kiwi fruit...you know what it is like...fruit beginning to go a little squishy within the skin...that was kiwi not apple 😆😆...RSPB who also care for small wildlife recommend that fruits not quite good enough to grace one's table are in general good for wee furry beasties 😊...no citrus fruits as they can cause squirts of a different nature...😆😆
Well, a bowl of cereal and we're ready for the day...
