I'm rather glad that Christine and Malcolm will be going this time. They haven't been for months and I wanted to asked her if she'd heard that my ex husband is very ill and suffering from dementia. Tessa and Sam's mum, Sue, mentioned it at Adam's birthday dinner and assumed I knew. Why would I if it's not been mentioned before. We may not have ended well but I don't wish that on anyone. Christine and Malcolm are very friendly with his brother so if it's true I'm sure they'll know.

Last night going to bed early didn't work so well, I made it by half past 12, so tonight I'm aiming for 12 and not being too ambitious. lol

I've started another puzzle, a village scene which looks like the 40's or 50's, it shouldn't take too long as it's only 500 pieces.

Good luck with a rose bush, will it be difficult to grow in the heat? Hugs   xxx

Hi Janet, I've not been far today, I decided since I'm out tomorrow I'll call at the card shop on the way home. I did a couple of loads of laundry and put them on the line to dry, it's been 48 and sunny. I spent some time in the front garden pulling up the big weeds and putting killer on the little ones, which will work if it stays dry.

My hip was painful in the night, I'm not sure if its the way I laid and when I got up a couple of painkillers later made it more bearable but I decided to take it easy, the perfect excuse to finish the puzzle.

I'm seeing my cousins tomorrow, I'll pick up Hilda and we'll meet the others at the restaurant.
