Sounds like you had quite the day yesterday. Good to hear that you got to see family over the course of the day.  Busy but fulfilling
Dad forgetting what day it is is more common these days as he has early onset Alzheimer's. It's mildly annoying to make plans with him being that's how he is but getting to spend time with him is worth it
