Hello! When my mother was a child, coffee plants grew everywhere. Urban development eliminated them for built cities :( but  still found Coffee plantations in rural areas -
Most of the Costarricans  do some thing called "tomar cafe"is when  people drink a cup of coffee with bread with  cheese natilla ( a kind of sour creme),or j coojies  .It is something deeply rooted in our culture for many, many years. :)
