Good morning, think I will take the xmas tree down today, I'm not back to work till Wednesday, I'm going to be honest it was great to have 3 and a half weeks off!

I don't think it's hit quite 40 so far but hasn't been far off it. I think the heat affects us more as we get older. I'm very happy to have working aircon. A few years ago it stopped working in the middle of a heatwave.. 40 odd degree then. We weren't able to get anyone to look at it for weeks.. turned out a flippin' frog got inside the inverter and when I turned it on, it zapped the from and the electrics. Took a few more weeks for the stuff to arrive to fix the darn thing. I will never forget that summer.. I was almost a cooked frog LOL

Morning Lyn. Woke up this morning to news of Major Earthquake in Mexico where Russell's brother is  hospital in Alapoco. Trying to get thru to Embassy

Yeah ~ our terms are unusual, even for the US.  We will have a 2 week vacation between Christmas and the new year (Dec 19 - Jan 4).   Our long break is July & August.
