Copy and paste the list to my wall but before I "post" it, I hold down the "windows" key (mine is bottom left next to "alt" key) and the "full stop" key together and the emoji box pops up.  I then type in at the top of that box the word "red cross" or "tick" and options will pop up. You need to make sure your cursor is at the spot where you want the cross/tick to be placed.
