One more work day and then quilting getaway in Amish country. 20  ladies haul all their sewing gear and projects an hour and a half away and set it all up in a hotel conference room to sew for 3 days. Sounds silly but you get away from phones, pets, family, weeds and any other pesky interruptions. I look forward to these because I have uninterrupted time to finish a top or make progress on more. My coworkers niece comes to take care of the kitties while I am gone and she gets time away from her sisters.
