Can anyone help with best set up for Lop Ear Bunny..........need to  repel Hare, then, fox, skunk if use rosa amora............not enough roommmmmmmmmmmmm

any ideas?   wana do babies :)

There is enough room if you only use one herb, because then you only need one of each deterrent.  These setups do however do best with the use of the supershroom, otherwise you become overrun with dragons.  Personally, I prefer to just fill my garden with the attractant and accept that the other wildlife will come (not that I've done loppy much, but it's much the same situation as with badgers).

You don't need to deter the Hare.  They only come when the Thornbloom is fully grown, but the Lops don't come until they are ready to harvest.  And you won't need to deter the Skunk either if you get your timing right, since the Rosa is only a deterrent when RTH.

If you want babies, you don't have room for more than one Thornbloom and one of each deterrent.  One RTH Thornbloom, one blue or yellow flowering Bellis to deter the Brown Bunnies, one RTH Rosa Amora to deter the Foxes, Supershroom if you can plant one.  And that's it.

If you weren't going for babies, two of each plant would be better.  But that doesn't give you enough room for the birthstones :)

Personally I think all this hype about deterants for lops is weird. Why do you want to make yourself extra trouble, spend more gold and dimaonds to fill your garden with unnecessary plants? You haven't finished families neither for Brown bunnies nor Fox. Why don't you combine? Who said that you only have to do one baby at a time? It's so much more difficult that way...

You have two much easier options:
1) Plant 2-3 Thornblooms. When RTH, they will attract Lop and brown bunnies. You will be surprised how many lops you'll get, for me it was nearly half. The rest were brown bunnies which I have all used for babies, too.
2) Have your Brown bunny families already? Keep 2 Thornblooms, add one flowering yellow or blue Bellis (I think just one should deter all bunnies and I think it worked for me but everybody seems to be suggesting that you need 1 per herb, you might try and see, you can always plant another). You wil get mix of Lops and Foxes. Again you can use the fox for babies, too.

The advantage of both set-ups is that you don't need Supershroom because you will have attraction strong enough to avoid most of the myths.

I found having 2 thornblooms, 1 bellis and 1 rosa worked fine - I got loads of loppies and almost no bunnies and when I only had 1 thornbloom I found I got very few loppies.  However, if I wasn't using a supershroom I would just go with loads of thornblooms and do the loppies and bunnies together. It would take a bit longer to get the loppies, but it's definitely do-able.

Really the best thing is to play around with it a bit, and find out what works for you, as different people do find different set-ups work better for them.

thats a really good idea also Daniela.........i dont have enough birthstones for the bunnies and foxes to get 5...... so i cant do the mums and bubs return.......

well, the peridots for the bunnies are about now, so maybe you could collect a few to do them together? There are lots of  lion gardens around, so it wouldn't take long to find a few :-D

Right now Lions are everywhere so you shouldn't have big trouble collecting few for brown bunnies. You wrote that you have heaps of birthstones, it haven't occured for me that you might have heaps for lops and not enough even for families for other babies. :) Maybe you heaps are different from mine haha. :D I always try to plan ahead and rather postpone some set-ups so I can go the easier way, but that doesn't suit to everyone. I just thought you might like to see some other options. :)

yeah you have definately made me think about doing this Daniela.........i have about 14 birthstones for the lops..........and only couple for the others......... i have used all my Peridots doing the Giraffe's :(((  I keep getting Hares at the moment so im gonna pull out the Herbs and try and get my FIRST mother and baby Ostrich......your welcome to stalk...........then i will set up for the Lops (somehow)
