I’m not entirely sure what the question is but if it’s telling you that you only have 3 gold dust then you will need to purchase more to convert in order to have what you need for the pot, if you believe you have 31 gold dust and it’s saying you don’t then maybe contact support so they can better explain why it’s not working :)

Hi Jessica - you can only use gold dusts for purchases (essentially sprinkling gold on another player) from gold that you have purchased in the last two years or that have won from spotting gold critters in other gardens.  If you have gold from other sources, it cannot be used for purchases.

Other sources include, gold from spotting bird bath chicks, gold from harvesting plants, gold that has been sprinkled on you from another player (gold purchased by another player for you does count as a purchase though), from before changes were made a few years ago from winning on snail games, levelling up, or from alchemy and herbalism.
